Thorpe Park

Taken at Thorpe Park, London. Makes me want to transport myself direct to the happiest place in the world… Disneyland!! N x

You don’t take a photograph.  You ask, quietly, to borrow it.  ~Author Unknown

What you run from…

I’ve been revisiting some of my travel photos and reflecting on some moments and certainly being grateful for all the travel I’ve done. There’s a certain something that travel does to you, it shifts things, if you’re stuck you tend to find your way and see the light at the end of the tunnel. Its profound, I love it and will keep travel in my life for the rest of my days.

It must be said though, that the greatest journey you’ll ever take is inside of yourself and the most significant moments for me have been back here in Perth. Realisng that what you run from you run into is huge, we have all been there, that instinct to run away and wipe the slate clean. Only to return home and find that the “stuff” is still there…. mind you, the new found perspective from travel helps… slowly things unravel, make sense and you realise its life, go with the ebb and flow.

The photo I have posted today isn’t all that brilliant, I wanted to share it because its the exact moment I realised that I had run into a concrete wall. Ironically I was on the Greek Islands, possibly the most beautiful place in the world.
